Aloe Vera is a succulent plant Indigenous to East and South Africa. Its use can be traced back thousands of years to Greek and Arabian physicians. Aloe Vera contains aloin, calcium, potassium, sodium, manganese, magnesium, iron, lecithin, and zinc. Its antibiotic properties help clean, soothe and heal wounds externally. It is valuable for burns, insect bites and acne. Internally, aloe acts as a laxative and bitter tonic, cleansing matter from the stomach, liver, spleen, kidney, and bladder, while soothing and toning the tissues. It is also known to help heal internal tissues damaged by exposure to x-rays and radiation. Aloe Vera is a strong cathartic and helps with overall digestion by stimulating peristaltic muscle.
