Due to its tasty flavour and amazing immune boosting benefits, Elderberry has long been a folk remedy across North America, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. Elderberry contains amino acids, carotenoids, flavonoids, sugar, rutin, viburnic acid, vitamin A and B, and a large amount of vitamin C. The flavonoids in Elderberry include quercetin which are thought to have therapeutic properties, and anthocyanins which are powerful antioxidants.Elderberry syrup can be consumed on its own or in a tea, and is a great addition to pancakes, tonics, smoothies, or bubbly water (soda).

Suggested use: 1 teaspoon on its own or in a warming cup of tea.

Medicinal Ingredients (per dose unit): *Organic European elder (Sambucus nigra subsp. nigra, Fruit) ... 1 mL (1: 8.2, QCE 121.95 mg). Recommended Use: Provides antioxidants. Traditionally used in Herbal Medicine as a diaphoretic to promote sweating and to help relieve fever in cases of common colds and flus; to help relieve joint pain associated with conditions such as arthritis; and as an alterative to help remove accumulated waste products via the kidneys, skin and mucus membranes. Recommended Dose: Adults: 8 - 16 mL 3 time(s) per day. To use as a diaphoretic, add drops to a cup of hot water and drink while still hot. Cautions and Warnings: If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a health care practitioner prior to use. Contraindications: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) can occur, in which case, discontinue use. Discontinue use in case of gastrointestinal upsets, such as abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Non-Medicinal Ingredients: Pure spring water, honey, & organic cane alcohol.
