Apricot Kernels - Organic
Apricot kernels originate from northern China, the Himalayan region and other temperate areas of Asia. They have traditionally been used in Chinese medicine to treat respiratory problems, indigestion, high blood pressure and arthritis. Apricot kernels are a good source of iron, potassium, and phosphorus and are full of healthy fats and protein. They are thought to have a relaxing effect and may contribute to lowering blood pressure. The kernels can be eaten raw or ground and sprinkled into curries, soups, cereals and granola. The oil is used in cosmetics for softening the skin. Used as a substitute for almond oil.
