The Role
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong business relationships with key stakeholders at wholesale customer accounts. This role focuses on driving sales growth by promoting Harmonic Arts products, identifying new business opportunities, securing product listings, opening new accounts, and managing WS promotional activities. Delivering exceptional customer service while embodying the company's core values is essential. This position reports directly to the National Sales Manager.
This field-based position requires a minimum of 4 days per week of travel within the assigned territory.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Achieve sales targets existing and new customers.
• Continuously build and nurture relationships with retail staff, buyers, and decision-makers through regular in-person visits, promotional activities, and joint business planning.
• Develop and maintain strong, growth-oriented relationships with customers through joint business planning and effective leveraging of sales programs and promotions.
• Serve as the primary resource for product information, pricing strategies, inventory management, and promotional execution.
• Provide product education and training, including in-store demos,
• Maintain an organized and detailed customer information database, tracking call cycles, promotional plans, and inventory levels.
• Provide feedback and insights on market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity to inform strategic decision-making.
• Participate in educational seminars, training, and sales meetings to maintain product knowledge and industry insights.
• When required, represent the company at trade shows, educational events, and consumer-facing demos to strengthen brand presence and engagement.
Qualifications & Skills
• 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in the natural health or consumer products industry.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience; a diploma in a natural health discipline is an asset.
• Proven success in B2B sales and business development and account management.
• Experience managing marketing programs, sales promotions, demos, and events.
• Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Technologically adept and quick to learn new tools.
• Expertise in consultative and challenger sales approaches with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships with a service-oriented focus.
• Adept at analyzing sales trends, developing actionable plans, and meeting or exceeding targets.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude.
• Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to present complex information in a concise, compelling manner for live and virtual audiences.
• Collaborative team player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues.
• Outgoing, positive, and passionate about the natural health and a healthy lifestyle.
• Highly adaptable, open to new ideas, and solutions focused.
• Strong problem-solver who takes initiative and provides actionable solutions.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record, with travel comprising 70% of the role.
• Reliable transportation with insurance and roadside assistance;
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs regularly. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and driving are to be expected with this role.
• Capability to work in various environmental conditions, including inclement weather.

Permanent, Full-time.
Must be based out of Victoria, BC or Vancouver, BC (Metro Vancouver area); Remote with Travel.
Only candidates within those two areas will be considered.
Schedule
This field-based position requires a minimum of 4 days per week of travel within the assigned territory.
Based on the needs of the business; Monday – Friday, 8:30-4:30 PST/PDT; hours may flex based on work commitments and travel. Willingness to work weekends and evenings as required.
Compensation
$53,000 - $63,000 per year, plus commissions
