Harmonic Arts Products are Made in Canada

Elizabeth Ferns |

Nestled in beautiful Cumberland, British Columbia, Harmonic Arts is a family-owned plant medicine company devoted to supporting the health of people and the planet. In a time where consumers are more conscious than ever – making intentional choices about which companies align with their values – we appreciate your trust in Harmonic Arts and incorporating our products into your wellness routines. We are proud to be a Canadian business, and we feel it’s important to provide transparency about our operations.

Formulation & Packaging

Our Co-Founders are deeply inspired by the abundance of the west coast, and their product development philosophy stems from the desire to honour the connection between human health and the health of our planet. Our plant-powered products are thoughtfully formulated and manufactured at our facility on Vancouver Island. The majority of our production takes place there, with the exception of a few specific products that are packaged in Nanaimo, BC or Richmond, BC.

Ingredients Sourced from Nature

Our commitment to quality sourcing means carefully selecting the best herbs from around the world. We prioritize potency, purity, and ethical cultivation, ensuring that every ingredient meets our high standards. It’s important to us that we source our herbs, mushrooms, and superfoods from their natural habitats, promoting sustainable harvest practices and avoiding the introduction of invasive species. Once the ingredients arrive at our facility on Vancouver Island, many of them are transformed into the herbalist-formulated blends we’ve become known for, crafted with care to support wellness and vitality.

The Harmonic Arts Team

We’re proud to be one of the largest employers in Cumberland with a team that is predominantly local to the Comox Valley. The rest of our team is spread out across our beautiful nation. Not only that, but 95% of our sales and marketing contractors are Canadian, and 100% of the service trade workers we employ are Canadian.

Supporting Canadian Communities

We seek to support the health and wellness of our fellow Canadians whether they choose to purchase our products or not. In the 2024 fiscal year, Harmonic Arts contributed over $12,600 to social and environmental causes, bringing our total impact-driven donations to over $81,500 to date.

Canadian Organizations We've Supported

Cumberland Community Forest Society

The Cumberland Community Forest Society (CCFS) is a champion of land conservation and ecological stewardship in the village of Cumberland, BC, and surrounding region. The Cumberland Forest is integral the quality of life of our community. Not only is it home to a variety of well-loved walking and biking trails, but it contains diverse ecosystems that nurture climate resilience and effortlessly work to remove carbon from our atmosphere. Our support of CCFS is ongoing and to date, we have donated $79,000 towards their conservation efforts.

Comox Valley Senior Support Society

This organization helps older adults who are experiencing isolation and loneliness, or who are feeling vulnerable due to challenging situations. What started as a viable way of offering emotional support to seniors quickly expanded to include support to seniors struggling with transportation, housing, elder abuse, information and education issues, resources, and other services.

Canadian Red Cross - Alberta Wildfires

In the summer of 2024, we donated $1,575 to the Canadian Red Cross, specifically to provide support during the Alberta wildfires. Our largest retail partner in Alberta is Nutters, and their storefront in Jasper had to close their doors for a few weeks as they evacuated due to the wildfire. When we made this donation, the Government of Canada and the Government of Alberta matched every dollar.

Trans Canada Trail

For our Green Friday promotion last year, we donated $1,068 to Trans Canada Trail – the longest multi-use trail system in the world. It reaches every province and territory, connecting 15,000 communities between all three of Canada’s coastlines. We believe that supporting the maintenance of this trail system is an impactful step towards nurturing the connection between people and planet.
