Our Mushroom Tinctures have 28% alcohol content in them. This means that there is 28 mL of organic cane alcohol within every 100 mL tincture.

Our Chaga is wild harvested from living birch trees in an organic-certified forest in Siberia. Our Cordyceps are grown on substrates consisting of organic soybean and organic brown rice in China’s Zhejiang province (no substrate is included in the finished product). Our Lion’s Mane is cultivated on cedar sawdust in the Fujian Province. Our Reishi are organically grown on aged Duanwood logs at a small, family-run farm located in the Nine Dragon Mountains. Our Turkey Tail is grown on logs and deadfall in Northeastern China's remote forest, located in the Heilongjiang region.

Proper extraction is imperative to yielding potent levels of fungal polysaccharides, triterpenes, and beta-glucans that are easy for your body to absorb. Each of our mushrooms undergo hot water extraction to unlock these active compounds. Chaga and Reishi also undergo alcohol extraction as they are denser in texture and require the extra step to get to the beneficial triterpenes within the mushrooms. As our mushroom powders, capsules, and tinctures are registered as Natural Health Products, we do not have nutritional facts for them. You can request a Certificate Analysis to see the biochemical content (including polysaccharide content) of our mushrooms at any time by contacting help@harmonicarts.ca.

Before our mushrooms leave the lab where they undergo extraction, they’re tested for quality, purity and potency. This includes physical characteristics, chemical characteristics (including polysaccharide content), and microbiological characteristics. The results of this testing are documented in a Certificate of Analysis, which you can request from us at any time by contacting help@harmonicarts.ca. We also cyclically contract 3rd party testing at Canadian labs to further verify and validate the results of the Certificates of Analysis.

Our mushrooms are sourced from China and Siberia, regions that have a long-established history of traditional mushroom cultivation that spans back over thousands of years. Our decision to source from China is made mindfully and with deep consideration of purity, potency, and quality, as Chinese medicine has developed rigorous standards that guide the cultivation of medicinal mushrooms. While both mycelium and fruiting body contain active polysaccharides, recent research shows that the concentration of active compounds is highest in fruiting body mushrooms as opposed to mycelium. Our fruiting body mushrooms are grown on substrates that replicate the natural environment in which wild mushrooms thrive. This growing method ensures the mushroom can produce a wide variety of active compounds and phytochemicals needed to nourish human health.

Our mushroom dosage recommendations are approved by the Natural and Non-Prescription Health Product Directorate (NNHPD) and Health Canada. 

Our mushroom products do not contain gluten or maltodextrin. Our Mushroom Capsules contain a few additional ingredients: 

• Hypromellose controls the release of the Mushroom Powder into the body.  
• Organic brown rice flour acts as a filler, as the dose of our Mushroom Powders do not fill an entire capsule. 
• Vegetable magnesium stearate keeps the ingredients with the capsule from sticking together. 

Our Mushroom Capsules have a shelf life of 2 years, our Mushroom Powders have a shelf life of 4 years, and our Mushroom Tinctures have a shelf life of 5 years.

Our Tincture Blends are made with purified natural spring water. Distilled water doesn’t contain any essential properties, and so we use spring water to infuse beneficial minerals into every tincture.
