Based on the average 28-day cycle, the follicular phase typically occurs during days 1-14. Estrogen is the dominant hormone during this time, and ensuring it stays in balance is an integral part of a regulated cycle. For this bliss ball recipe, pumpkin seeds and flax are highlighted for their benefits. Flax aids in balancing estrogen production while pumpkin seeds provide zinc. How to Make Follicular Phase Bliss Balls:
- Add the oats, flax, and pumpkin seeds into the food processor and pulse to obtain a flour consistency.Â
- Add the rest of the ingredients and process to obtain a sticky mixture. Add more nut mylk if the mixture is too dry. Â
- Roll the mixture into balls using your hands. Â
- Place the balls onto a plate and roll in Matcha Mind, coating evenly. Â
- Transfer into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. Â

The Luteal Phase typically occurs between days 15-28 of your cycle, when progesterone takes over as the dominant hormone. This is the phase where symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome can show up.
